My wife and I planted 4 or 5 differnt types of cucmbers that I had in my seed stash. We planted them in the cloth, breathable pots. Now quite a few have come up in each pot, and I feel like each pot really should only have one plant. I called my aunt’s and they said they would take 4, so that is great. I am preparing some really great soil for them, including some of my charged biochar from planting the trees. It has only gotten better. I will also innoculate each plant with micorhizzal fungi.

Greywater #1
After several iterations, I ended up burying 4″ pipe, about 50′ worth, extending out from my washing machine, where I can switch between greywater irrigation or just doing to the sewer. My little greywater forest is amazing! It is mostly lambs quarters, and while we won’t eat from there, it is protecting the soil, building biology, and just looks pretty, and all from the water we would use for washing cloths. I’ll take some pics, it’s so cool! Probaably one of my favorite things I’ve ever created.
