I noticed that the desert willow was looking a bit like it was wilting. For a tree of that type that is pretty significant so even though it was super hot out I gave it a deep watering.
Also today I checked the carne seca a few times and the thinnest parts were ready. I got it from food city and it was sliced a bit thick. I can’t slice right now due to my fractured arm so I make do with what I can. The thickness plus the humidity has it drying quite slowly and it came out really good: just a little too much paprika. I think I’ll go have a piece up there right now…
